Built by someone who got tired of moving his car.
I'm Adam, an entrepreneur based in Roscoe Village. I've lived in this neighborhood long enough to know the specific dread of a Tuesday afternoon in June when you realize there's a 7:05 PM game and you have no idea if your car is still on Sheffield.
A friend of mine in Lakeview felt the same way, except she had a bigger problem: she'd invite people over on game days and spend the whole night managing texts from guests who'd parked in the wrong spot. Nobody had a good answer for "is LV2 active tonight?" You had to piece it together from the Cubs schedule, the 44th Ward site, and whatever your neighbor said.
So I built LV2 Park. One page. One answer. Updated every day from the same sources the city uses. It's free, it has no app to download, and it answers the question in about two seconds.
The FOIA data came from a public records request I filed with the City of Chicago. 9,434 tickets issued near Wrigley between 2018 and 2023. I wanted to know which streets get hit hardest and when enforcement starts. The data confirmed what the neighborhood already knew: Sheffield and Kenmore by 5:05 PM, every game.
