Where Is the Shuttle Pickup?

The pickup point is Clarendon Park field house, 4650 N Clarendon Ave, Chicago, IL 60640. That's in the Uptown neighborhood, about 1 mile east of Wrigley Field.

Street parking around Clarendon Park is generally easier to find than Wrigleyville, especially on weekday games. The Buena Park neighborhood blocks around Clarendon, Hazel, and Sheridan tend to have more open spots than the blocks immediately around the park.

Parking tip for shuttle users

Arrive 2.5–3 hours before first pitch if you're planning to park near Clarendon and take the shuttle. Street parking fills up there too on popular games, especially weekend series against the Cardinals or Cubs-Sox games.

Shuttle Schedule

Game typeFirst shuttle to WrigleyLast shuttle from Wrigley
Day game (1:20 PM)~11:20 AM~5:30 PM (approx 1 hr after game)
Night game (7:05 PM)~5:05 PM~11:30 PM (approx 1 hr after game)
Weekend day game (1:20 PM)~11:20 AM~5:30 PM

Shuttle timing is approximate. The Cubs add capacity on high-demand games. On a sold-out series against a rival, expect a wait of 10–20 minutes before boarding.

How to Use the Shuttle

  1. Drive to Clarendon Park. Address is 4650 N Clarendon Ave. Use the field house parking area or street parking on nearby blocks (Hazel, Kenmore, Clifton north of Irving Park).
  2. Find the shuttle staging area. Look for the Cubs-branded buses in the lot. There are usually attendants directing people.
  3. Board the shuttle. Free, no ticket required. It's first-come, first-served. Accessible vehicles are available.
  4. Ride to Wrigley. The drop-off point is near the main gate. About a 10-minute ride.
  5. After the game, return to Clarendon via shuttle. Return shuttles run until about an hour after the final out. Don't miss the last bus or you're walking a mile back.
Important

The shuttle does not run for concerts, private events, or Gallagher Way events. It's a Cubs home game service only. Check lv2park.com to see if today's event qualifies.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the shuttle accessible for wheelchairs and strollers?
Yes. Accessible vehicles are available in the shuttle fleet. Let the attendant know when you arrive and they'll direct you to the right bus. Strollers are allowed.
  • Does the shuttle run for concerts at the park?
No. The shuttle is a Cubs home game service. It does not run for concerts, private events, or Gallagher Way shows. For events not on the MLB schedule, driving and parking or the Red Line are your best options.
  • Can I take the shuttle one way and the Red Line back?
Absolutely. Many people drive to Clarendon, take the shuttle to the game, and then take the Red Line home. The Addison station is a 2-minute walk from the main gate and runs until after midnight.
  • What if I miss the last shuttle back?
Take the Red Line from Addison to Wilson or Lawrence, then take a rideshare from there to Clarendon to pick up your car. It's a short trip. Plan for this if you're staying until late in extra-inning games.

Other Transit Options Near Wrigley

The shuttle is one of several ways to get to the game without dealing with LV2 and parking stress.

  • CTA Red Line (Addison): Best option. 2-min walk to the gate.
  • CTA Bus #22 (Clark): Runs along Clark Street. Slower than the Red Line but useful if you're coming from the west.
  • CTA Bus #152 (Addison): Runs along Addison. Connects to the Blue Line and several north side neighborhoods.
  • Rideshare drop-off: Designated drop-off zones near the park. Best for post-game pickup when you don't want to fight for a shuttle spot. Don't use rideshare for pre-game arrival -- traffic around the park is bad.
